At Obra Collective, we hold a small selection of items in stock here in Australia, ready for immediate delivery.
Ready to ship items
We ship all orders from Melbourne using Sendle, a carbon-neutral courier service. In the event Sendle cannot deliver to your address, we will use Australia Post Registered Post as a backup.
Free Shipping: Available on all orders over $300 AUD
Flat Rate Shipping: $12 AUD for orders under $300 AUD
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. You will receive a tracking link via email once your parcel has been dispatched. During peak periods (e.g. Christmas, Mother's Day), processing and shipping may take longer than usual.
Same City (Melbourne): 1–2 business days
Metro Areas (Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide): 2–4 business days
Regional & Rural Areas: 3–7 business days
All delivery times are estimates and may vary due to postal delays or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for delays once an order has been dispatched.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to:
PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers
Locked Bags or Parcel Collect locations
Hospitals, airports, shopping centres, or military bases
Shipping is managed through Sendle. Once your parcel is handed over, responsibility for delays, damage, or loss lies with the courier. Please contact Sendle directly with any concerns related to your delivery.
Pre ordered items
Many of our larger or more delicate pieces — such as custom rugs, lamps and chairs — are shipped directly from Argentina. This approach allows us to support local artisan production and reduce unnecessary storage and handling, helping preserve the integrity of each product and the natural resources behind it.

Shipping costs for these items will be calculated at checkout or quoted separately.
Any taxes or charges that may apply at the destination are the responsibility of the customer.

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your item is on its way.
Returns Policy
Credits & Exchanges
At Obra Collective, we take pride in offering thoughtfully curated, often handmade pieces. Each item is selected or crafted with care—whether it’s a handwoven rug, a sculptural lamp, a tailored garment, or artisanal homeware. We want you to love what you receive. However, if something isn’t quite right, please read our return guidelines below.
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we offer the option of store credit or exchange on eligible items.
Refunds are only available for in-stock items—such as ponchos, bedding, and ready-to-ship rugs—and do not apply to custom rugs, made-to-order pieces, lamps, or furniture.
To be eligible, your item must be:
Unused, with all original tags and packaging intact
Postmarked within 7 days of delivery
Accompanied by proof of purchase
To initiate a return, please email us at info@obracollective.com.au with your order number and reason for return. Returns submitted without prior approval will not be accepted.
Customers are responsible for:
Return shipping costs (unless the item is confirmed to be faulty)
Ensuring the item is returned via a tracked and insured service — we cannot take responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged return parcels
Original shipping fees, which are non-refundable
Faulty or Incorrect Items
We inspect all orders before dispatch, but if you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us at info@obracollective.com.au within 3 days of delivery, including clear photos and your order number.
We will assess the issue on a case-by-case basis and offer a suitable resolution—whether it’s a repair, replacement, store credit, or refund (for eligible items).
Please Note About Handmade Products
Many of our items are handcrafted using traditional techniques and natural materials. Variations in texture, shape, colour, or weave are considered part of the piece’s character and not defects.
Because of their handmade nature, we do not offer a formal warranty on these items. However, if you experience an issue or believe your product may be faulty, please contact us. We take customer satisfaction seriously and will assess concerns on a case-by-case basis to offer a fair and thoughtful resolution.
