At Obra, sustainability isn’t a box we tick—it’s a path we’re walking, step by step. Every choice we make is guided by care for the planet, respect for our makers, and a commitment to conscious design. We don’t pretend to be perfect, but we are always striving to do better, to find more sustainable ways to run our business, and to inspire mindful living through our products.

Our packaging is a big part of that story. We use compostable shipping labels and stickers from Hero Packaging, our boxes are from Box Works, and our tape is water-activated Kraft—all proudly sourced from Australian companies. Our tote bags are made from 100% recycled cotton, and even our stretch wrap is biodegradable. Some products still need a little plastic to stay protected, and that’s okay—we use it only when absolutely necessary, while constantly searching for better, more eco-friendly methods.

Every product we share is handmade and ethically sourced from Argentina. By combining eco-friendly shipping, recycled materials, locally sourced packaging, and conscious design, we aim to make sustainability tangible for our customers. Choosing Obra means choosing ethical products that are crafted with care, supporting traditional makers, and embracing style that doesn’t cost the planet.
